Summary:
Responsible for setting up test apparatus, conducting tests of electronic assemblies and units, and assisting in the design and development of test procedures for new products.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Test Technician or in a related role.
Strong understanding of electronic assemblies and units testing methods, procedures, and standards.
Proficiency in using hand and small power tools, measuring and testing devices.
Knowledge of adjusting, calibrating, and modifying electronic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and sketches.
Basic understanding of statistical process control procedures.
Responsibilities:
Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic assemblies and units.
Adjust and calibrate systems as required.
Modify electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components.
Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts.
Analyze test results to evaluate performance and suggest product improvements or manufacturing modifications.
Assist engineers in designing and developing test procedures for new products.
Monitor and verify quality in accordance with control procedures.
Follow designated work schedule, initially Mon-Fri for training, eventually transitioning to Thu-Sun.
