This role is responsible for overseeing the activation process of our microbial tea used in agriculture for soil health.
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing a commercial system to serve 100,000 acres of farmland by 2024.
The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with farmers and agricultural cooperative (COOP) employees.
As a StrongSoil Activator, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing activation systems, including plumbing and farm equipment, drainage systems, PVC piping, manifolds, filters, electrical pumps, and electrical connections.
Key Job
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Interact with farmers and COOP staff to ensure smooth StrongSoil product delivery and address any concerns or inquiries.
Solution Preparation:
Prepare StrongSoil solutions tailored to meet specific farm application requirements.
Training:
Train COOP employees on the proper operation and maintenance of the activation system.
Installation:
Install and connect tanks, pipes, pumps, valves, manifolds, filters, hoses, and electrical components required for the activation system.
Repairs:
Identify and resolve issues with pipes, leaks, clogs, and broken fixtures to ensure optimal system performance.
Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections, clean drains, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure the activation system functions effectively.
Samples and Testing:
Obtain and deliver StrongSoil samples following established quality procedures.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose problems with the activation system, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions to address operational issues.
Compliance:
Adhere to building codes, regulations, and safety standards while carrying out activation activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous work experience in a related field is preferred, such as farming, electrical, or plumbing, or relevant coursework from a junior college.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Knowledge of plumbing equipment, drainage systems, PVC piping, electrical pumps, and related components is desirable.
Familiarity with agricultural practices and terminology is a plus.
