Position
Summary:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs calibration and alignment checks; adjusts, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Requirements:
IPC 620 Certification in Cable Harness-Soldering Experience with test instrumentation (accelerometers, thermocouples, and strain gauges).
Basic knowledge of test equipment (DITMO, O-scope, etc.
) Experience in Tapping Wire Harnesses Prior experience fabricating/building Wire harnesses in industries specific to the job description High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks.
Buried multi-purpose communications cable to include coaxial and fiber optic cable Terminate high voltage power cable systems Expose severed or damaged cable Providing cabling documentation updates for cable management Assess cable capabilities and serviceability Installing/pulling cable and wire Blanking panels, cable tray Maintaining the cable and telephone infrastructure Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of cable Maintain cable installation records and schematics using database Stop various types of cable penetrations Preparing cables for pressurization and maintaining cable pressure Install and maintain cable system power supplies Maintain and install all cable and communication conveyance systems Read and interpret staking sheets and cable schematics to splice newly installed cable in pedestals and to terminate cable in cross connect ; consisting of correctly marking cable pairs Terminate and test low voltage cables and fiber optic cables Installing data racks, cable tray, and cable management in IT rooms Provide cable television, phone and internet services to subscriber residences Provide or relocate cable and modular connections Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable Recommended Skills Assembling Cable Assembly Machinery Mechanical Aptitude Mechanical Assembly Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
